L is for lazy

Today was an extremely lazy day. My son went back to school after that long winter break. I must say it was rather nice not hearing kids fight all day.
Kate and I went to visit my nephew. I can honestly say I'm probably his favorite aunt.

After leaving my sisters house we went to redbox and rented Despicable Me 2! We saw it in the theater in 3D but of course we have to rent it so we can memorize our favorite parts before it's due back by 9pm tomorrow.
One of my favorite parts.

As soon as we got home I made some lunch and popped the movie in. I made us something super quick and easy. I had a pita flat bread sandwich and Kate had rolled up meat, cheese, crackers and a mini brownie. Homemade lunchable :-)
I could live off this bread.

When the movie was over we played Star Fox on the PS2. We're super cool.

Old school game on an old school tv. That's how we roll.

No workout or run for this lazy mama today. I even dozed off for a few minutes! After about 3:30 I got up and vacuumed then made dinner. So it wasn't a complete waste of a day. Oh and I'm sure Kate enjoyed having me all to herself too.

How was your Tuesday? It is Tuesday right?
Have you seen Despicable Me?
Did you like it?

  2. I think we all deserve a lazy day or two in our schedule :) And I loved the Despicable Me movies. The first one was on tv not that long ago so we re-watched it. I had forgotten how many funny little extras were in it.
