My first weekly recap

This week went really well! I did a workout or a run every day and ate pretty healthy. I started eating "clean" again and I really enjoy it. I don't snack without really thinking about what I need, I enjoy my meals because I'm actually hungry when it's meal time and I feel really good at the end of the day. I'm trying to lower my body fat percentage and diet plays a huge role in fat loss/gain.

I'm so glad today is a rest day! I woke up with a migraine around 6am and that pesky thing women have to deal with every month... -_-
I hate you pain.

On to the recap..
I started my 30 day exercise plan on Tuesday and did Jillian's 30 day shred, level 2.

Wednesday: 20 minute run, leg workouts with resistance band and high/low planks.

Thursday: Yoga and leg workout with resistance bands.

Friday: 20 minute run, legs with resistance band.

Saturday: Jillian's Killer buns n thighs level 2, and planks.

I had a couple new-to-me meals that were really good! Black bean and corn tacos!

I'll share this spaghetti squash recipe soon! It's almost like a healthy spaghetti without sauce. Which is great for me since I have acid reflux and haven't been able to eat regular spaghetti in a long time. Squash, onion, garlic, tomatoes, basil, sprinkled with olives and feta cheese and tossed with chicken = delicious! I added chicken, it wasn't part of the recipe but it made it more filling.

  1. I love Jillian's 30 day shred. I have periodically checked it out from the library. I actually enjoy several of her workouts!
    I am totally with you on eating healthy food:) I finally was able to harvest my garden pea's and had my fill last week:) My tomato's and cucumbers are just about ready for picking to, and I'm loving it, gonna save me lots of money at the store!

    1. Thanks! I thought the old look was a bit too dark. I might add another photo collage to the right side of the title..
      I really like the 30 day shred too! I do it on days that I want to get a workout in but I'm low on energy. Now her killer buns n thighs.. that one kills me for a few days!!
      We're getting a lot of tomatoes right now. I just pulled our snap pea plants..they didn't get very big and they died early.. garden's are so nice to have though!

  2. You go girl! I don't have to deal with the monthly pain right now lol. but I have a whole load of other pains. I'm getting ready to start clean eating again too. It's what I want all the recipes on my blog to be and kind of turn it into a database of clean recipes for families.

    1. Haha ya that's one of the good things about being pregnant. :-) that would be cool since I'm looking for clean recipes. That would be great to know where I can find some!
